Last week on KPW's Off The Ropes

  • Lazarus Volt (with Trinket the Clown) beat "The Fixation" Jimmy Fox
  • Jade Diamond beat Kade Morgan "3G"
  • Inferno announced he was coming for the KPW Championship held by H-Flame.

This week

Backstage

"The Fixation" Jimmy Fox arrogantly bothered and belittled Chris Deloran as the "Neon Knight" was getting in some cardio on the training bike while rockin' out to some sweet rock'n' roll on his headphones at the same time.  Unfortunately for the Fixation, Chris Deloran couldn't hear Jimmy Fox running him down over the sound of his music!

Also backstage...

Intern Suki Gogo delivered a disc to Queen Hollie, who couldn't resist a "squee" at her new headshots finally arriving.  Suki helped Hollie play the disc, which contained a warning from someone who called themselves Queen Hollie's "nemesis" and swore revenge.  Hollie couldn't believe that anyone would bear a grudge against her, as everybody loves her (according to the Queen!)

Singles match:  Chris Deloran versus "The Fixation" Jimmy Fox

Ref:  Mark Freemantle

The Fixation strutted to the ring to a chorus of boos, seeking to prove he could make it on his own without his mentor Miles D'Rock and also seeking to reestablish himself in the KPW ranks following a loss to Lazarus Volt on last week's show.  Chris Deloran came to the ring straight from the Eighties and the crowd couldn't have been more pleased to see "Mr Love Potion Sixty-Nine"!  From the outset, Fox's cockiness cost him as Delorean used his speed and technical skills to knock Fox all around the ring.  With the crowd cheering him on, Delorean continued the attack.  Jimmy Fix's angry side came through and he cheated to take advantage, beating down Delorean in the corner.  The crowd cheering on their neon hero, Delorean reversed a snake eyes into a tornado DDT to get back in the match.   Both wrestlers traded reversals but Delorean was fired up and hit the Delorean Device (modified Rocker-dropper) for the three count.

Winner:  Chris Deloran with the Delorean Device for the win by pinfall.

Singles match: Inferno (with Charlie Roberts) versus Lazarus Volt (with Trinket the Clown)

Ref:  Daniel Martins

Inferno was determined to go through the ex-ringmaster to prove that he was top contender material.  Showing no fear at taking on the fiery veteran, the happy-go-lukcy crowd favourite Lazarus Volt and Trinket came to the ring to a chorus of cheers.  Riding high off defeating Jimmy Fox the previous week, Volt was seeking to make his star shine brighter by defeating the veteran Inferno.   Sadly for the ex-ringmaster, Inferno was in no mood for games and mercilessly beat Volt senseless, much to Charlie Roberts' delight.  Volt managed to rally and went for the High Voltage (top rope drop kick) in desperation, but the wily Inferno blocked the high-risk move and clamped on the agonising Cinderlock (Texas cloverleaf) for the conclusive win.

Winner:  Inferno with the Cinderlock for the win by submission.

Backstage...

KPW Champion H-Flame was catching up on his afternoon bench-presses when KPW CEO Rip Morgan stopped by to notify him that next week there he would defend the title against Inferno.  H-Flame acknowledged that Inferno was a tough competitor and that he'd have manager Charlie Roberts in his corner, but he'd strong enough to take on whatever the challenger could throw at him.

"Backstage Pass", with Ilex Bell

Inferno attempted to interview challenger Inferno, but the angry man dismissed her from his presence, saying he would only speak to KPW commentator Blair "the Flair"!  This left Ms Bell speechless and forced Blair "the Flair" to dash from the commentary position to backstage to interview Inferno.  The fiery veteran angrily announced he would take H-Flame's championship next week and that there was nothing anyone could do about it!

Coming up next week...

  • It's the big one:  Inferno (with Charlie Roberts) wrestles the champ H-Flame for the KPW Championship!

For KPW's "Off The Ropes", this is Blair "the Flair" saying, "See you at ringside!"
