A former wrestler himself having wrestled for over twenty years in New Zealand and overseas in Puerto Rico, Canada, Japan, the Carribean, the USA (primarily North Carolina, Georgia, Tennessee and Texas), England, Scotland, Wales, France, Germany, South America, Singapore and Hong Kong, Rip Morgan knows what it is to lace up a pair of boots and step between the ropes. He maintains a long list of contacts from his days on the road, and leverages these business contacts to KPW's advantage. The list of his toughest opponents throughout his career reads like a "who's who" of professional wrestling greats: seven-time NWA World Heavyweight champion Harley Race, Mark Lewin, Bruiser Brody, Kerry von Erich, Kevin Von Erich, Ricky "The Dragon" Steamboat, Carlos Colon,"Wildfire" Tommy Rich, Pedro Morales, "The Boogie Woogie Man" Jimmy Valiant, Giant Baba, The Fabulous Ones (Steve Keirn and Stan Lane), Antonio Inoki, Tatsumi-Fuji Nami, "Dr. Death" Steve Williams, The Fantastics (Tommy Rogers and Bobby Fulton), The Road Warriors, The Steiner Brothers, The Midnight Express, Lex Luger & Sting.
With the same tough, no-nonsense, straight-up approach to management that he employed in the ring during his career, Rip Morgan founded Kiwi Pro Wrestling for the express purpose of bringing the finest in New Zealand professional wrestling to the New Zealand public and the world.
Assisted by his right-hand man Mister Rumble, the CEO works night and day to bring the best matches possible to the KPW wrestling fans.
A mild-mannered man most of the time, Rip Morgan nevertheless has come into direct conflict with KPW GM Terry the Golden Greek due to the latter's his arrogance and biased treatment of his allies. Never one to back down from a fight, Rip Morgan remains as passionate about the professional wrestling business as the day he first entered the ring!
